moon vine
August 19, 2022
I’m having a sad, rainy, dream-ish day. Walked from home to the coffee shop and bought a large green tea, and now I’m taking the train Northbound to Ogden for a change of scenery.
I’m working on a playlist for Manon’s mom, Gina. It’s called “spooky weirdo genius art pop coven.”

“moon vine”
how pink and vulnerable beneath the mid-day sky
I hide my cheeks, avert my eyes,
keep my frame tight and await the night.
when I, pale as an egg, await the moon,
the black bog floor her petals bloom.
