Every lover has been a coward,
Has left me fearful of daring,
Glaring on the carousel hummingbird, your fox
I want you to touch yourself
but you avoid the fates and sleep through every goddess spectacle
not to be happy, but to be dreamy
My tongue is my trove of sound and pleasure.
The moon rises, a magic apple,
A bubbling and psychotic cauldron of myth and perversion,
I love to eat the soil with you and yodel the sound of pleasure
into your throat
Take your song to the things with beaks
To the sirens, to the cliffs,
Take your bottle to the sea,
Swim yourself to me
Glittering, regal as a moth,
chartreuse and ghostly,
doom-laden melon of the mind
